Overview
Sidi Abed is a right-hand point set on a tombolo, with a rocky coast to the north and a sandy lagoon on the southern side. It sees very few surfers, but when the setup comes together it can throw up a heavy righthander.
When It Works
The point picks up swell from the southwest through to the north (SW-N), breaking over a mix of uneven reef and sand. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for a southeast offshore wind. The point can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.

This one suits intermediate surfers best.
