Overview
Sinalangu is a right-hand reef break tucked next to the harbour entrance. When it lines up it turns fast and shallow, with long rides on offer, though it rarely comes together. It breaks over live coral, and the reef is sharp.
When It Works
The break draws swell from north to northeast (N-NE), with northeast (NE) the best match. It works from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft. Consistency is the catch here, so you'll likely be waiting for the right window rather than counting on regular surf.
Wind and Tide
Look for southeast (SE) offshore wind. Sinalangu surfs on low and mid tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one is for experts. The shallow water and sharp coral leave little margin for error, and the lineup tends to stay quiet.
