Twin Rivers Point surf guide

Twin Rivers Point is a surf spot located about a 30-minute drive from Ucluelet. It’s known for its more reliable waves compared to the beach breaks at Big Beach and Little Beach. If there’s a solid west swell, you can expect to find fun rides at Mussel Beach. The spot features a mix of stunning scenery and a few rocky challenges, making it a spot for those who know what they’re doing.

The best conditions here are with a west swell, but it can also work with south-west and north-west swells. When the swell is around 3ft (about 0.9 meters), you can catch some decent waves. Twin Rivers Point tends to throw up fast, tubing waves that break over boulders. Most of the action is on the right, so keep an eye on your line. It's worth noting that the spot really shines during low, mid, and high tides, so there's plenty of time to catch your share. Just remember, this is a spot for expert surfers who can navigate the rocky elements and local vibe.

Access is pretty straightforward; just walk from the Mussel Beach campground to get to the surf. It’s a good idea to check the conditions beforehand since the spot can be hit or miss depending on the swell and wind. Opt for north winds for the best experience out here.
