Twin Rocks surf guide

Twin Rocks is located about an hour south on the tip of the island. It's a pretty laid-back surf spot with some fun lefts and rights. The vibe here is chilled out, and you can find easy accommodation nearby. It's got a welcoming atmosphere that makes it a nice place to unwind after a day in the water.

The surf here works best with an east swell direction, but it can also pick up swells from the north-east and south-east. This spot can handle swell sizes around 2ft (about 0.6 meters), making it suitable for intermediate surfers looking for some fun waves. You’ll find that the waves break over live coral, offering both left and right surf options. If you hit it during mid or high tide, along with a west wind, you’ll get the best conditions for a session.

Even though Twin Rocks isn’t the busiest spot, it’s a great launching pad for surfers wanting to explore more. The island has plenty of hidden gems, so consider hiring a boat in Virac to check out other locations. You can always score more waves and find some less crowded spots if you’re willing to venture out.
