Agiba Beach is a beautiful, turquoise-blue beachbreak that picks up just about all the available swell and holds some of the biggest waves in Egypt. Peaks break over sand and peel both left and right, leaving room to find your own space along the sand.
When It Works
The beach draws swell from the west through north, with northwest swell the best match. It works from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, covering everything from small, playful days to some of the largest surf the country sees.
Wind and Tide
Look for a south offshore wind to groom the faces. Agiba works through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The mellow beachbreak setup makes this a friendly place for beginners to find their feet.
Access
Parking is easy, with free roadside spaces right by the beach.
