The Outside tends to be softer but can connect to the inside, becoming hollow if the swell exceeds 5ft (1.5m). This spot is generally best at low tide, though it works at mid and high tide too. The high cliffs help protect it from cross and offshore winds, making for more favorable conditions.

Jungmun Beach can get crowded on weekends, especially from June to September, so be prepared for some hassle and mild localism.
