Peanut Farm is a semi-secret right-hand point that breaks over sand, and it is the best-quality wave within easy travel of Arugam. The sucky rights peel close to the rocks, while the mellower beachbreak alongside is well suited to beginners.
When It Works
The point draws swell from south through north (S-N), with east (E) swell the best match. It is usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft and stays moderately consistent, so there are worthwhile windows when the setup lines up.
Wind and Tide
Look for southwest (SW) offshore wind. The wave can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The beachbreak section is a friendly place for beginners to find their feet. Expect a moderately busy lineup when it is on.
Access
Reaching the spot takes a long, slow walk from Panama, roughly 20 minutes, or a 4WD if you would rather drive in.
