Perelle Bay - Right surf guide

Perelle Bay - Right is a surf spot located on the beautiful coastline, known for its fast, shallow right-hand waves. This break can fire when the conditions align, particularly under the right swell sizes and directions. It's positioned right next to some rocky formations, which can make for interesting surf, but be careful not to get too close.

The spot works best with a north swell and can handle swells at around 1.2 meters (4 feet) and more. It typically breaks over an uneven reef, providing a quick drop before forming into a solid wall with decent barrel potential. When it’s good, you'll find a wave that’s heavy and can get feisty, especially with the right conditions. Light winds from the south are ideal, and high tide tends to be the best time to hit it. Just remember, it usually requires a bigger swell to really get going compared to the left side.

While you're enjoying your session, keep in mind that both the left and right breaks are a few hundred meters out to sea, so make sure you’re prepared for a bit of a paddle. This spot is not always consistent, so check the swell forecasts before heading out to make the most of your surf.
