Overview
Perelle Bay - Right is a fast, shallow right that breaks over an uneven reef a few hundred metres out to sea. You get a quick drop next to the rocks, then a good wall with barrel potential. It's a heavy, feisty wave, and very shallow.
When It Works
The right draws swell from southwest through north to northeast, with north the best match. It needs a big swell to get going, more so than the neighbouring left, so it's one to save for the bigger days. It's usable from 1.2 m / 4 ft to 3 m / 10 ft.
Wind and Tide
Sitting a few hundred metres offshore, the right needs light winds, so look for a south offshore. It works best on high tide, and a rising tide is the better call.
