Pointe Camille is a left-hand reef break that peels over dead coral. The fringing reef on the southwest corner is the part that holds the lefts, and there are a few other options nearby if you want to explore.
When It Works
The reef draws swell from southeast through south, with a south (S) swell the best match. It works from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, so you want a bit of size in the water before it comes to life. Keep in mind that it is somewhat inconsistent, so it won't be on every day.
Wind and Tide
Look for northeast (NE) offshore wind to clean things up. The reef works around mid to high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This one suits intermediate surfers. Expect a fairly quiet lineup when it is working.
