Stanley Bridge is a tourist highlight with a surprisingly decent setup, offering both lefts and rights that peel over an uneven reef. It is worth knowing up front that concrete in the water and a police presence make actually surfing here unlikely, so treat it more as a spot to read about than one to plan a session around.
When It Works
The break draws swell from west to north (W-N), and it comes together best on a northwest (NW) swell. It is usable from 0.9 m / 3 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, with both left and right waves on offer when it is running.
Wind and Tide
Look for southeast (SE) offshore wind to clean up the faces. It can work through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
