Surf: You can camp on Tenia Island and surf the left on the Passe de St Vincent, a half hour boat trip from the mainland at Bourake. It's not the hollowest left, but has long carvable faces and crumbling lips for the wind crew who descend for the afternoon trades. Handles plenty of size and packs a punch as it shifts around the long line-up. Ideal in SSW swell and ENE wind with an incoming tide. There is another left and right on the reef protecting the island. Environment: Intermediates will handle the average days. Strong currents on dropping tides.
