Overview
The Kms is a run of beach breaks strung along the coast south of Agadir, each spot simply named for how many kilometres it sits from the city, from Km11 through Km12 and Km13 onward. The waves peel both left and right over a mix of uneven reef and sand, and each number has its own feel. The lefts at Km11 run fast and tubular on low tide, while the walls at Km12 are softer, though there are boulders to watch for in the shorebreak.
When It Works
It pulls in swell from anywhere between southwest and north (SW-N), so there's a good spread of angles that can light it up. The spots are usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft, holding everything from small and playful up to solidly overhead.
Wind and Tide
Look for a northeast offshore wind to groom the faces. It can work across low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
This stretch is a good fit for intermediate surfers. Locals gather at the Royal Surf Club.
Access
