Overview
Wara Point is a right-hand reef break that peels over uneven reef on an outside reef setup.
When It Works
The point draws swell from south through southwest, with a south (S) swell the best match. It is usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 2.4 m / 8 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for northwest (NW) offshore wind. The reef can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The right-hander suits intermediate surfers.
Access
Wara Point sits 4 km south of Sondo, and the outside reefbreaks take a very long paddle to reach.
