Amphitheatre is a left-hand point in the Tabarka area, peeling over an uneven reef on the Cite Larmel side of the Amphithéâtre de la Mer.
When It Works
The point picks up swell from west through north to northeast (W-N-NE) and lines up best on a northwest (NW) swell. It's usable from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, and it stays one of the more consistent options in the area across that range.
Wind and Tide
Look for southwest (SW) offshore wind to clean it up, though the lefts still hold a side/offshore shape in a northwest wind. It works through low, mid, and high tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The lefts here suit intermediate surfers and reward a bit of patience for the right swell window.
