Overview
Cleopatra Beach is a right-hand point on the Alexandria coast, breaking over a mix of boulders and sand. There is a second Cleopatra Beach reachable from the Montazah Castle Resort, and that one holds a potential right-hand point of its own. It turns dangerous when the sea is stormy, so save it for a clean northwest swell.
When It Works
The point picks up swell from west to north, and northwest is the direction that lines it up best. It works from 0.6 m / 2 ft to 1.8 m / 6 ft, so anything under or over that is likely to leave you either waiting or overwhelmed.
Wind and Tide
Look for southeast offshore wind to clean things up. The point can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The wave suits intermediate surfers, so you will want to be comfortable reading a point and holding your position on the takeoff.

Parking is paid, with meters and a car park nearby.
