Gaibu surf guide

Gaibu is a popular surf spot located on the Gaibu Peninsula. Despite being in a prohibited zone, locals have access to the waves, and there haven't been any incidents reported so far. The beach at Enseadas attracts surfers looking for a mix of fun and challenge, especially when the waves are pumping.

The surf at Gaibu usually works best with a southeast swell, although it can handle swells from the east and south too. It’s suitable for swells around 2 to 6 feet (0.6 to 1.8 meters). The waves break over a mix of uneven reef and sand, and you can expect both left and right handers. Low to mid tide is generally where you’ll find the best conditions, and if the wind's blowing from the west, you’re in luck. But keep in mind, this spot leans towards the expert level, so it might not be the best choice for beginners.

Weekends can get really crowded since Gaibu is the main surfing spot in the area, so if you're looking for less hectic sessions, you might want to hit it during the week. Overall, Gaibu provides an essential experience for those who want to catch some decent waves on the peninsula.
