Loutsa is a long, wide beachbreak on a sandy residential stretch, and probably the most consistent beachbreak in Epirus. It breaks over sand and serves up both lefts and rights.
When It Works
It draws a wide band of swell, working from the south through west-southwest to northwest, with southwest (SW) swell the best match. The beach is usable from 0.3 m / 1 ft to 1.5 m / 5 ft.
Wind and Tide
Look for a northeast (NE) offshore wind. It can work through most of the tide, with a rising tide generally the better call.
Local Tips
The gentle, sandy setup makes Loutsa a friendly option for beginners.
Access
Parking is easy, with free parking in winter plus roadside and restricted parking nearby, and the beach is simple to reach in winter.
