Patos is a surf spot located near the city of Vigo, making it quite popular among local surfers. The area tends to get crowded when the waves are good, so be prepared for some company in the water. It's a nice spot to have nearby, but the local vibe can be a bit protective, so keep that in mind when you're out there.

The surf at Patos features both left and right reef breaks, delivering waves that can provide some fun rides, especially with a solid NW swell. To really get things rolling, you’ll want to hit it at mid to high tide. The best conditions come with swells around 3ft (about 1 meter) or bigger, and this spot really favors the NW direction. It can handle swells from the west or north as well, but you might find the waves to be short with some barrel sections that are more geared towards those with expert skills.
